I just purchased an 89 ranger 2.3 2wd 5spd. I want to get a little more power out of it without going turbo or dropping in a V8. I have looked into putting in the pistons and injectors from a turbo coupe. Biggest question is would the turbo coupe heads be a good addition or not a possibility. And if so what ecm should i purchase to support the additional power, or can it be tuned? Ill have pics sometime in the future.

 

If you're not going to put the turbo on it, don't waste your money on turbo pistons and injectors.

It will run like crap and no amount of tuning will fix it.
