1999 Ranger XLT from Zero to....?
Built thread of my ranger evolution ;-)
i strated in 2009 to build the truck for my hobbies but i own it since 2007.
this was the start:
to get a got starting point, i messed with every single rust spot on my car.nasty dirty work but i dont want to buy an other car ;-)
i hated the metal can sound from rain on my roof so i decided to do some sound deadener in doors,floor and roof.worked nice

Cargo area protecting:
Avm Hubs,because my PVH are not working.dont want to mess with this so i decided to go manual.it works great.

Remote external Tranny Oil filter for extra capacity and long life of my tranny :-)

i want a whinch on my front so i got this bull bar for free,sold the stainless steel one i have before.i think this will work great with an "horn" whinch.have to build a few mounting brackets they will bolt in the tow hook places

the explorer leaf spring swap gave me abaut 2-3 cm (1") compared to the old original spring.actual with the 2" shackles and original 245/75 R16 Tires i messure between ground and the highest point of the wheel well 98cm (38"-39").the plan here is a PA Bodylift and the dixon bros 2.0 shock upgrade on the front.but they dont answear to my mails! (@ford.com e-mail address.... :-( ).want to fit 285/75 R16 tires on my stock rims with taht setup if the BFG AT´s wear out.got them since an year...nearly new.
the underbody Protector is build by an friend of me here in germany.if someone is realy interested i can ask for shipping to usa (maybe an weld it yourself kit)

hope this dixon bros guys will answear..want this upgrade for christmas ;-) what shocks can i use in the rear?
i am travelling long distances offroad so it shouldt be reservoir shocks because of cooling on high speeds.
