2009 2wd Single Cab street truck
Hey guys. Just wanted to start a log of my little truck. Inherited it from my brother in-law, and want to make it a little sleeper. Plans are...
1. Wheels and tires
2. Brakes
3. Suspension
4. Body work/Paint (or plastidip...Yes I know everyone hates it)
4.5. Smoke headlights and tail lights
5. Re-do the audio
6. Insulation/Sound dampening
7. Swap Seats
8. 302 swap.....the 2.3 is so slow ( I know this is a large expense...hence its last. lol)
I currently own a 2013 Silverado 4x4 crew cab and a 2014 Ford Explorer. So this little truck has turned into my daily driver to work and back. Way better gas than the Silverado or explorer.
Ill post a photo of the truck as she sat before and with the wheels and tires. I will also try to provide as much detail as possible with where I got my parts, cost, measurements etc etc.
Wish me luck!

New shoes
So here it is with wheels and tires. I know it needs a drop badly....
19x8.5 NICHE Misano with a 45mm positive offset. Used 1.25" black hubcentric spacers all the way around. I got a great deal on them, well at least out here in California.
$1500 for wheels and tires. Running Pirelli tires for now. 245/40/19.
I was originally going to do a color change on the truck to a satin dark metallic grey, but now I'm contemplating leaving it white and painting it a satin white with like a light blue pearl in it....I don't know.... what do you guys think? want to paint the upper front bumper to color match. paint the grille to color match, and the mirrors as well. Leave the front lower valance black, and get a roll pan as well.
Would love to get some opinions.

Well. Been so long since the last update. Decided to stay white. Had to put off doing things due to a large expense. The explorer turning into a 2017 suburban. Happy wife happy life. About to pick up the ranger from the body shop. Got new lower bumper. Got a new painted upper bumper and rear bumper and the new all white grille got painted too. Almost all the major dents pulled. Just need to get it dropped. Total for paint and body work was about $2500.
additionally. Got new smoked headlights and side markers
-$80 Amazon. Look decent
tinted tail lights.
-$17 Amazon for the film.
LED bulbs all around including headlights
-$185 DDM tuning.
