99 Ranger Build
But never the less looks awesome man. Makes me want another white ranger so bad. I was trying to hold off before I bought another one but I guess you ruined that lol.
Oh btw I tried dropping you a PM but I was trying from my phone so I dont know if it ever went through.
Any more plans for it?
Well after going threw the truck from the last wheeling trip, found out i bent the rear part of the frame by the shock mount. The top of the box is closer to the cab than the bottom and i can see the mark on the frame where it bent.
Well it's' been a long time since I've been on, I lost all my info to get on here so I started a new one. Last fall the 3.0 gave out on a wheeling trip, head gasket went and I drove it home because I was pissed. Decide to yank everything out. So she looked like this last winter and most of the spring this year.
I got motor bolted in and now just finishing everything up, had to recess the radiator in the support, did most of the wiring last Thursday, also pick my drive shaft the extended. I hoping to start her up in about 2 weeks if kids/work/wife allow.
Still need a few things here and their bit have mostly all the major thing taking care of. Tuesday plan on installing the hydraulic clutch setup, since it was originally a auto. I know I skipped a lot of stuff but here is a pic of the motor installed.

Good to hear. I have the exact same axles waiting to go under my ranger. I was considering running some 38.5 tsl sx's. Those mtr's are military take off's right?
I might have to look into those. They are priced really well too
Money, the motor was carbed when I got it, plus wiring is simple, 1 wire for dizzy, 1 wire for alternator, 2 wires for starter, plus fuel line. May go to a aftermarket efi later but for now this is going to have to do. I just want the truck running, not having it running for a year sucks
The engine has a edelbrock performer-plus cam, new bearings and rings, did a little port and polishing on the heads, edelbrock performer intake, and topped off with a edelbrock 650 Thunder series off-road carb and went with hei distributor. Got the motor from a buddy, the motor didn't even have 60,000 miles on it. Tore it all down and cleaned/checked it out. So hoping it should last me a while.
