New windows and a sliding glass door went in yesterday and I built a new gate for the driveway, no pics though I was way too busy. I'll get pics of the progress tomorrow.

Tile in master bathroom is done, granite is installed (we're not using the backsplash in the pics), ceiling fans are all up, can lights are in the family room (no pics) fences are done/almost done and 99% of the electrical work is done. Starting on the wood floor refinishing tomorrow and tile work in the kitchen starts tomorrow.

Thanks for all the comments so far guys!

Hardwood floors were sanded today and the first of 3 coats of sealer/clear went on. We are keeping the natural color, no stains. Sink got hooked up today and we found out that the drains are all clogged up . Tile backsplash was started and will be finished up tomorrow and the kitchen tile should be started by tomorrow and finished on thursday. Microwave was installed today and the cabinets got one more coat of the stain.

I also used the old counter top to make a workbench in the garage.

And now on to the pics...

Because my parents were worried that, having room mates, someone might chip the sink and it would be easier to replace if it was over mount. Also saved the fabrication cost of the sink hole and they could get it installed faster if it was overmount. In the end, I just wanted it done and didnt really care whether or not it was over or under, that was one battle that wasnt worth fighting.

For a few days I actually had two toilets on the porch, they are now gone... :-(

I need to get some furniture and we'll party it up, dont worry

There are three other green chairs somewhere, think they might be inside.

We'll rewire the garage as soon as we dig up the back yard. I think we're going to run a gas line to the garage, so when we do that I'll run some conduit down there. I'll let you know.
