Another non-Ranger project log.

1970 Chevelle

Current Motor

'70 GTO Seats and a Hurst on top of a Muncie

Originally a 307 four speed car. Has a 330hp 350c.i. from a '71 vette in it now with a Muncie 4 speed.

Already have a 454 to put in front of that Muncie. Complete frame off resto-mod coming.

This is the first of many late nights.

All this is being done on weekends, I will be coming home from college every weekend to work on it and work to make money to spend on it. Before I left today, my dad and i pulled the plugs and squirted a little oil into the cylinder to try and start it. Watch for the video of that next weekend.

It has only a few soft spots, mostly on the rear quarter. But even that is just the random pinhole. Thanks for the compliments guys, I am pretty pumped. What is really ironic is that it seems like it has less rust than my truck did when I bought it.

Trunk full of parts. A ton of sorting to do, including 3 SS dashes (one complete)

So just a quick update, started pulling off the front clip last weekend. Ordered some summit adjustable shocks and a new bushing kit for the front end. Nothing exciting.

had the original 307 with 2spd power glide transmission and only had 73k original miles. Needed a mild restoration. If I would of had the money to put into it I would of kept it.

Nice car. I would never be able to afford this if it was not a friend of my dads that had it, and my dad is helping me financially, physically, and mentally (he is a drag racer from way back haha) with the car.
