Way to go! Your really making that little mazda look great! Too bad you dont live near me, i have a friend who owns a body shop and would fix your bed up for super cheap .

Have you looked into any mild lift options?

Thanks, I have been thinking of adding some coils to the front to level out the truck. It doesnt need it, But I think it will add a tougher look to it. Still in the process of finding a bed for it, and Then I might put on a slim box.

You should look and see if those mirrors from the Expo fit the Mazda.

its not really that cool, but you should put the explorers antenna on the mazda. It blends in better with the plastic piece.

I agree, I wanted the power mirrors. Will the front bumper or the rear bumper fit? I have read yes they will and no they wont.

I might just add a spacer. I'm guessing a daystar? I belive thats what I had on another truck.

I'm still debating on the explorer visors. I pulled them, I just dont know If I want them or sell them.

The front fitted, But I would had to modify the bracket to raise the bumper up like 3linches. I said screw it, I threw the factory one back on it and tried to straighten it out a little. I will worry about it when I get another one.

I agree, I like the look of the mazda front end.

So I've started on the center console after I cut my seats down to the 40/40 style. 3/4" mdf frame, routered edges, Flush mount maglight with chargers on pass side. I will probably carpet it or marine grade vinyl it. I want to still find some cup holders for it. Here is some of the beginning pics from last night.

I like the maglite slot in the console. Maybe you should patent that ! Not a bad idea.

Done alittle more to the console....

I was thinking tonight while working, Has anybody ever covered any interior parts with Herculiner? I thought about covering the entire console except the lid and do it in Marine vynil.

I'm probably done with it until next week sometime. It's our 5 year wedding anniversary this weekend and we're heading out-a-town for the weekend.

Really nice progress on the truck bud. Very impressive center console as well. Keep it up!

Point me in the direction for the hidden hinges, I will deff look into it. I have since not done to much of anything to the truck.I still havent finished the console. The armrest is the best. Shifting is alot better and more comfortable. I might just shoot a custom shadow moss camo on the console who knows.

I would shoot a camo on the console.Try looking around Lowes/Home Depot for some hinges that go on the inside of the lid instead of the outside. They have to have something like the stock hinge on the arm rest.

You can get them at Home Depot, Lowes or any hardware store. They use a cantilever system so the are completely hidden on the inside of the cabinet door. They would look good on that console.
