You dont see me with blocks on my ranger on anything like that i know blocks arent the greatest thing butthey do work, 30 years ago most of the lifted trucks were lifted with blocks.
And thanks for the positive feedback guys.

I guess I just dont understand why people say this. Wouldnt it just make more sense to take the extra couple minutes to do things the correct way? Everyones excuse is its just a mud truck. In this case its I think its just silly not to fix those couple little things. cut the fenders take the blocks out and move the shackle hanger back. The truck isnt bad just little things that would make it that much better.

It's called evolution.

But why did your Dad say to put the supports like that? I'm curiose, not, well maybe a little critical.

because he dosent understand the concept of a gusset you should see one of the chackle hangers he made for the old frame there terrible

Not bad. Looks like it'll serve your purpose til it breaks.

I've always been taught, if you're gonna do a job, do it right. Some food for thought.

ford rules 07-28-2009 08:36 PM

Ya well why dont you buy me a d-60 front and 6" lift leafs and i will do it right.

TrePaul86 07-28-2009 08:40 PM

Give me the truck and I'll gladly buy the right equipment for it.

You posted online and asked what we thought. We gave it to you and you're getting butt hurt from it. Happens to me sometimes too. Sh!t happens.

It's all about how you take the criticism.

It's your rig man, do with it what you will... I think most of the guys doggin it are saying, don't come back on here when something breaks and ask what happened, what did I do wrong, because you've already been told.

Downey 07-28-2009 08:49 PM

did you get it painted yet

I know whats going to break the weak azz d-44 prollay the long side inner shaft thats what always breaks on these rigs with the d-44 but i know that and you dont need to tell me that or its gonna blow up one or the two:crazy: either way it dosent really matter to me.
And downey no we didnt paint it yet we will probably get cab corners and try to find doors but idk

TrePaul86 07-29-2009 01:46 PM

As long as you're aware, that's all I was saying.
