I figured I'd be safe with the spindles or the body lift, but with both I don't know if I can get away with leaving the stock soft line.

Fordzilla80 Jan 20, 2015 10:55 AM

I forgot about the double lift. I'm not sure in that case.

INT3RC3PTOR Jan 20, 2015 01:06 PM

have you checked out any of the extended brake lines from some of the suspension manufactures? Also I think I heard back when, that stock f350 brake lines will swap right in and are extended just right for a 4-6" lift

should be able too, i can ask, got a buddy with a torsion spindle lift and body lift on

Dewey Jan 20, 2015 06:10 PM

I haven't tried manufacturers sites, but if I cant find stainless ones, I'll go with the F350 lines

RLong31 Jan 20, 2015 07:35 PM

Check out these guys.. Pacific Customs: AN Lines and Adapters and Dune Buggy Parts, Sandrail Parts, VW Parts
I almost ordered all of my stuff through them, but had a gift card with Amazon so pieced it together on there. You can find all the adapters and fittings you need and make them fit together however the heck you want really.

Dewey Jan 20, 2015 10:06 PM

Just went on their site, pretty easy to find stuff. I'll need to call them before ordering to make sure that everything I picked out is correct. Seems like the banjo bolt fittings work for 3/8 or 10mm, which is convenient. Thinking I may as well do the whole rear axle in SS since I'm doing everything else.

More parts to add to the pile..

Got 30% off this weekend and got my mustang calipers (picking up the other side tomorrow) and front rotors along with a set of car ramps for my dad. Bill was $368 before tax and came down to $293 after 30% off and 7.5% tax. Saved over $95. But I may not need the rotors whenever I do the lift spindles even though I'll probably put the new ones on anyways. They're the premium ones and have a black powder coating which looks nice until I hit the brakes for the first time

Korey didn't extend any lines for his truck. I just asked him

Thanks. I'll see what I can come up with

Just ordered my camber kit. Fingers crossed, all I still need are brake lines and rims/tires. I'm getting tired of being nickel and dimed

Thanks Shaun for the lead!

Took the truck out to a wedding that I got to work on Saturday and it got a little messy. Rain + bumpy shell road make this...

Now on to the actual progress...
I got the day off work today and decided to put in the new speakers I have had sitting in the pile since mid November. They're a pioneer 6 3/4" components. I was planning on waiting for an amp, but I'm not very patient. I also took the chance to put some of my Rattle Trap sound deadening on the insides of all the doors. Made a little bit of a difference, but the roof, floor and back wall will make the most difference when I take care of them.
Now, pics of the install,

Rims got here today!

You can really see how bald the one tire is leaned up to the hitch
https://www.ranger-forums.com/attach...ine=1427741527
https://www.ranger-forums.com/attach...ine=1427741527
It looks like my leafs are flat, but that's because the weight was all on the one side. There's a little bit of arch. It'll be fine until I get the mountaineer springs under it.
https://www.ranger-forums.com/attach...ine=1427741527

I also took off the mudflaps since they don't do much now and darn sure wont do anything soon. Itd be nice to have tires for the rims now, but I'll hopefully have them in a few weeks if they get off backorder.

redranger04g Mar 30, 2015 01:02 PM

Love the rims

Fordzilla80 Mar 30, 2015 01:11 PM

Sweet! Can't wait to see your truck with the lift and new wheels and tires.

bravetitan24 Mar 30, 2015 01:48 PM

Rimz lewk gud!

00GreenRanger Mar 30, 2015 02:19 PM

Rims look great!

Dewey Mar 30, 2015 02:23 PM

Thanks guys!

00GreenRanger Mar 30, 2015 02:31 PM

I think you should get the mt's instead of the rt's, that way you don't have to wait for back ordered tires haha

Dewey Mar 30, 2015 03:56 PM

I want the RT's mainly for the tread wear warranty versus the Aggressiveness of the tread. If they aren't available when I go back I have half a mind to get the MT anyways. The tread wear is really good on them too, just a little too aggressive for what I actually "need"

00GreenRanger Mar 30, 2015 04:08 PM

Yeah they may be a little aggressive but I think the MT's would look sweet on your truck.
