Hmm... What's the plans then? Gonna drop it on its nuts?... Those coils look a lil too small ID for the ranger... What size are they? They also look way long to do any kind of dropping!

Coils look fine, better start saving for control arms its only a matter of time.

You wont be happy with 2/2 after it's said and done..

Didn't know they were that long on those trucks... my 2wd had large dia coils and weren't very long...

They are a couple inches shorter than the stockers but not much.

They will compress pretty good.

Might have to.. but that will have to wait till I get a real yab.. right now just getting the lift off and getting her on the way down.. like I said on rps

Weird thing, fedex guy walks up as I am putting my dash back together and I look at the small box he had and thought those cant be the coils.. they lookd small but they are some heavy ****..

Does pepboys sell those pancake style bumpstops for the front? or just easier to hack the stock ones?

Today:
Bought "Lowe's Lowering Kit" aka grade 8 bolts/nuts/washers/lock nuts ~ $12

Paid for new FORD u bolts and nuts ~ $51

So far ~ $118 in parts.
Basically I have everything suspension wise, but I can not find used Prostars with the offset I want or without holes drilled in them for slicks..
might have to find some used stockers to run..

I plan to send out my XCAL for a retune soon and then looking at paint..

Thinking of running Pirelli P4 Four Seasons 215/65TR15, any recommendations? What size are you running?

go with some 235/60/15.

In case you go lower in the future which you will, you wont rub then.

I'm personally running 215/70 15 up front, 225/70 15s out back, but at 5" down, I rub a bit. At 2" down, I would run the stock size, 225/70 15. But yeah, if yopu plan to go lower, which I bet you will later you'll need smaller. I'd wait till you go low to do it though, small tires would look terible without enough drop.

True, but I might have to run the current 15x8s and there are few tires that fit my current rims yet dont suck or bigger than stock..

Much better tires, greater grip. I've tried rice ( Kumho ) , Day-go ( Pirelli ) and even some Yankee ( american ) tires.. Theres only 3 companies I can say make a damn good tire.

Cooper, BFG and Goodyear.

Mind you, I use my tires all year round and in N.Y. Winters. I don't buy different tires for different seasons.

Never thought to check walmart; but I will now, if I can get the BFG Radials cheap, I will. I had them before but I would get 235/60r15s for the wider track.. the traction t/as look good but I would have to get 225/60HR15 though they have a better warranty and reviews so idk
