IM BAAAACCCKKK. Just bought a 99 xlt extended cab from a guy in Peninsula. 135k. 2500. runs good. kinda rusty. so that will be what i need to work on.

 

Looks like you've got your work cut out for you, but not a bad lookin truck.

 

Thx. Plan to get rid of the tail lights fix the exhaust. Replace body parts that are rusty and drive it. Then lift it. Take the chrome stuff off the side and fenders? Scared too at this point? Idk if or how long it'll be be4 I replace fenders and bed.

update for the truck. been kinda busy with life, had a baby so progress has been slow.

put a hitch on. as well as dynomax exhaust. easiest and probly the best fitting exhaust i've ever put on anything.


took off the chrome fender things. don't judge me. i know i'm fat.


took off the chrome pieces down the side. figured there would be a bunch of rust hiding but surprisingly not.
