My Dixon bros LT FX4 build
^like. problem is getting in contact about anything if theyre even in business anymore.... i asked for a bumper, a crossmember, and numerous questions about their LT kit for the explorers thru email and phone. either they dont pick up or wont reply to emails. just seems too frustrating to work with them when there isnt really any customer service....at all. im the same way when it comes to losing your bed. ive wanted to do deavers for the longest time and run a bed cage but id have to make one that is super low profile since my bed isnt even really a bed and i still wanna use my wannabe bed. so ive been slowly searching on DR for some cages that i like. Lord knows if and when ill do it.
by the way mikerider, i love your slogan. " support search and rescue... get lost." had a good chuckle to that one lol.

I have thought about doing the DBR cantilever but its another couple grand... no more money needs to be spent this year lol
BTW BTF makes a cantilever setup as well and they actually answer the phone! no clue how much their's is but it looks nice, douyouquax over on DR has it on his truck
ohhhh and with my current setup it pulls an estimated 14" travel in the rear with 12" shocks in the stock location.. seems to work well to me but Im sure its garbage to most people with full builds

honestly thats great numbers for that setup. on caged rigs its only 6 more or so inches and have to be strapped with a bed cage setup. honestly dude id be happy with 14" of travel. i wish i could pull the numbers with the setup i have up front. shoot with my coilovers up front im pullin about 3" of travel. lol no kidding.... but by the end of the month ill hopefully be pulling 7 or 8" or if im lucky 10. ive got some a arms being boxed in and heimed (lower ball joint) and pulling the shock mount down but im not making it wider. im staying at stock width. hopefully by the end of next month itll have the shock hoops and a arms as well as my 4" bumps too. anyways enough ranting and raving but i love your truck. its making me want deavers more and more.
yeah im sure they are too extreme for the setup i have. if they are ill just open em up and shorten them to 2". its not terribly hard to do. as for the pics:

Here are the bumps I'm using. Theyre F.O.A. i got em for 195 with cans brand new off of DR and i knew i couldnt pass the deal up.

Keep us posted on that. i have heard the same thing, but i am a true believer in you get what you pay for. If they do well on yours i might consider a set to ditch my rubber stoppers.
Yeah I'll let you guys know. Overall they don't look terrible. It's not king or fox quality that I'm used to seeing but if it's functional then it works.... For now. We'll see! How much did you get the straps for?
Well i got cv's but I am not doing the victory dance because these are the old style axles which arent rebuildable.. I got them for $200 so its not the end of the world because i at least have proper dimensions to build a set of 930 adapters. I sent aaron a text asking if the shaft itself is compatible with a 930 joint. If not i am going to jump off a really high bridge lol
