WOOO! lines and hookers in the middle of no where is gonna be sketchy....

I would bet your peddle problem is because your stock MS has a larger bore than the disc brake Explorer master.
What pistons are those? I have never seen ones with ring lands like those. |

Ahhh... I have never seen stock 93 pistons before.
|
Yep that's all I know about them! Thankfully they are still in good shape so I have never had a reason to change them.
I did a quick look or rockauto for fun and the 96 explorer the parts are from shows a master cylinder bore of 1 1/16th of an inch while the stock master for my truck is either 15/16 or 1" diameter. |
I want a 302 ): lol naw for real sweet build thread read through the entire thing

Yeah that sounds right. I was confused...I had manual brakes on my mind. Rear disc will require more fluid volume over the small drum brake wheel cylinders

Okay little update. Spent the weekend working on the truck again. Removed the valance piece between the grill/head lights and the front bumper in order to repair a bunch of rust spots and use it as a test piece to verify the paint code for the truck. I got it all bumped out and painted earlier today but its dull since there is no clear coat on it.
Started sanding down my new bed cap to get it prepped for paint. Have it all wetsanded down and ready to go but the pine tree next door decided to puke on it so have to hit it with some grease and tar remover tomorrow, and hopefully lay down sealer, base and clear tomorrow night. And a couple of pictures after a whole lot of buffing today. Started with a wash and clay bar, then used Meguiars M105 and M205 followed by Mothers Reflections. Came out great and uber shinny. |
13 and gratiot... can't picture the gas station but I got by there on a regular basis.
|
on my way back from my dads friends house i saw ur truck parked at the midas at 12 and harper. was that ur truck? it looked just like urs but it had a cap on it
|
Yep that was my truck. I dropped it off yesterday morning before my wedding so I could get it aligned. I knocked the toe out on it at the Dunes last weekend.
|
how much did it cost cuz i think our alignments are like $100, at shadowoods
|
and have u looked at the 1990 ranger for sale at cap world on gratiot by 15? the greenish color one? im going to look at buying it and doing a 5.0 swap next summer, but im going to check it out tonight
|
The alignment runs 40 dollars, I have not seen the truck on 15, but there is another Gen 2 4x4 with a cap on grosebeck for around 2,000 that is rust free.
