Icon10 New here, 96 Ranger. The Plan.

Hey, Names Jesse.
I'm 16 and am pursuing a career in the automotive field.
I love these forums from what I've seen so far. Great people and it's very informative. :]
I own a 96 Ranger 2.3l Regular cab (not splash).
Below is a list of things i plan on doing over the next couple years. I plan to do all of the work myself with the help of a few people.

Im guessing you'll be painting it yourself I am supposing? Was about to say.. 500 for a paint job is like Mako job, and thats just plain wrong for a vehicle.. Going to be rattle canning it? Or are you running a good setup of air brushes?

Will be painting with my grandpa.
One of the things i will not do on my own.
Either that or a retired body shop teacher, he shows lots of mopar vehicles and has amazing paint jobs.

I live on the edge of fort worth in haltom city.

I've actually thought about Macco.
If i got one, I would do all of the prep work. Our painters in this area are not bad and the paint is not bad quality, what they are lacking is the prep work.
So if i got it, i would prep and remove lights and everything.

I've seen some good jobs done like that.
