My free sas parts fell into my lap and my impulse 5.0 buy have kept me busy. Im lacking room in the garage to do body work. Plus now im stacking parts everywhere. Starting to look like your warehouse.

Im trying to pull the dash out. It seems to be hung up on some bolts I missed. Got any tips on what it might be. I followed fords word on removal, but im stuck.

Anybody need an explorer gas tank or transfer case skid plate? lol

Dashes are a pita. After the steering column is out and all the wiring is unhooked(don't forget to pull the attenna wire down to the ps floor and the bulkhead connector under the hood) you have 2 bolts by the drivers door, 2 bolts above the cluster, one bolt above the ps airbag, one by the ps kick panel and one by the air bag module.

The bolts above the cluster and ps airbag are they big ones? I think i missed them. I have been pulling these small screws out which i dont think were the ones holding it in.

You have to remove the black plastic piece by the windshield (sometimes it hard to get it to pop out) to get them. They are the same bolts as the the ones by the doors.

Well its still going to be green but I am thinking about putting a silver stripe on it or maybe gold/biege.

Two-tone it. Green with the bottom silver.

Yeah I was thinking about that. If I get to it I am going to do a few photoshops and get some opinions or decide.

That looks like one sweet tractor muffler to me.

That was hoe the f250 was that i cut. Everything beyond the outlet of that muffler was rusted to hell. After seeing that I will never run anything but full exhaust. Just an FYI kinda thing.

Good luck man.

I could use flareside bedside you run across one :P

I only have one without flares but it has a large dent on the front drivers side and a couple more on the rear drivers side. Its on the gold truck.

Yeah she is definatley getting a muffler and tail. I was going to trade Cody beds but this one is just not nice enough for his truck. You might ask him about a trade.

Weekend update! Well I got alot accomplished, thanks to Brian comming down and giving me a hand. Removed the bed and drove it over to the car wash and sprayed the mud off. Removed the back bumper and hitch. Repaired the rear brakes and e brake, replaced the ds inner tie rod, replaced the ps wheel bearing/spindle hub(I now have 4wd), found the cel problem(I left the MAS unplugged), removed the rear shackles, replaced the xl seats with cloth seats, and replaced the xl door panels with xlt door panels. I also painted Brians roof and buffed it after he had a mishap loading a compressor. We also removed the bed from number 15....lol BTW old rusty bed bolts suck!

I can take a couple pics tommorrow but I didn't take any today. Mechanically its in pretty good shape now except I need to pick up shackles, hangers and change a broken middle spring. Body work on it wont be bad either. Then just finish up the interior and air and up for sale it goes.

I just need a new side for mine, its a bit broken. The sheet metal underneath is tweaked and needs a new gate.

One va trip a year is enough for me.
