MudSlanger's Supercharged 3.0 Project PICS
Ok before any of you get excited Im about to go all out on my truck. I have a turbo'd integra sitting in my garage. I have an NA ranger sitting in the parking lot. Now Since ive lifted the truck and put some 35's on, I have now decided that i need a little more power to rotate those tires. Here are the plans and Im going to need EVERYONE's help and input on this. No Engine Swap posts, Im dead set on my desicions.
The plans as of right now include me putting an Eaton M90 3.8L tbird sc supercharger on my 3.0 V6 motor. This will be pretty much be a custom kit that ill be working with. Ill fab me up a manifold and all that good stuff. Im not going to run an intercooler because i opted to just stay with stock boost(5-6psi) Im not looking for monster gains here people, just enough power to satisfy me. I already have a race car in my garage so im not planning on racing this or all that jazz. Plus i've always wanted a supercharged motor :) Im planning to keep the motor fully stock internally as well. If you have any inputs on this at all or any help to provide, please do.
As of right now, Im looking at buying an eaton m90 supercharger from a member on this site. Ill post pics of all parts, custom fab work, and all that junk to help other members if they decide they want to do this mod as well. Enjoy!
