i put mine in and i need the linkage too for the tcase and the shifter wont work with my style tranny unless i i cut the one off the bottom of my shifter and weld it onto the the fx4 shifter. i want a Hurst but i need money so i have to live with it for now

hmm never tried the hurst.. but i hear the fx4 and the hurst are pretty close. but dont quote me never used the hurst but i have had a regular stick and an fx4 stick and big difference.

Who'd you hear that from? The Fx4 shifter is just a chrome handle, its the same thing as other ranger shifters. The Hurst actually changes how it shifts.

yeah but look at the shape of the two shifters. I am not saying its a 100% the same. I just remember someone saying they went from hurst to fx4 and didnt notice a huge difference.

yeah i was just going to say that Hurst is a true short shifter well it is a truck so its not as short as in my car but it makes it shorter

Yeah the shape is a little different but it doesn't change the shift patterns.

^^ Thats what i read that it shortens alot but I cant see myself doing it just cause i like the matching shift ***** that i have already..

You could swap the shift ball onto the Hurst

Ha, i didnt even think about that. Wish i could make my t-case a hurst shift so i have the same style of shift rods. or is that possible to?

Anything is possible. You could get a piece of metal and machine it like the Hurst shifter and get it chromed...

Yeah very true anything is possible.

I am looking now to get my fog light replaced and have ordered my fog and my hids for my fogs.

that will be sweet do they just make a kit for the fog lights or is that one custom?

They make a kit.. its H10/9145 kit.

I am just trying to decide on 55W or 35W.. I am thinking 55W for the brightness.
