You don't happen to have the rear half of that frame, do ya? I need a new frame (new truck really, lol) from the cab back due to the excessive rust.
lol its been scrapped!

lol it was alright, time for something new.

My question is what happen to the 5.4?
its been pushed off to fall, it made more sense to do this first and get it out of the road that way nothing would have to be redone again.

yeah, we are starting to talk parts, but it wont be started till fall. which is fine for me.

one question though, what is it you want to accomplish with this? jumping? or just because its bad ***?
3 link, more flex, smoother, consistent, tunable, stronger, cage, performance...

yep, 3 link btw.

its in the scrap pile.

its cool, most people give the same reaction.

nah, i wont, going to make some new mounts and make them solid. I need the BL to properly fit the 5.4 with hopefully enough room to shove it farther back and up/down to fit everything under the cab but above the frame.

its a trail rig/toy, no driven purpose other than to tune it to run Dunes/high speed/Street/Trails everything I throw at it.

so you don't need a trac bar in this setup correct?

any reason your doing it the wishbone way and not just a 4 link?

trying to make it as simple as possible. saves me about 100$ too. Its just about as strong and I can easily adjust the pinion angle with 1 adjustment.

and yeah that frame was junk

You're doing a Y-link right?

Which way do you count the links? Off the frame or off the axel?

you count the actual bars. so since the upper is 1 piece its a 3 link without a panhard.

thats why I said that. After the first roll its broke in for more beating the **** out of it. Until then I'm sure knowing how hes been with his truck in the past it would be hard to just purposely trash it on a wim.
