Project: "Lady Luck"

Well I desided to start a build thread on my 91 B2200. Just to update progress on it as I do stuff to it. The name will come to reason soon in this thread. I have a few plan but they are very minimal at this point because the Ranger needs the most attention when I start driving this as my new DD. I will be going an inch or 2 lower and throwing some 18" Titan rims on for now. And then just some random body work and making or finding a tonneau cover for it.

Here it is the day I got it. After a wash.

I got to working on installing the new bumper and some other minor body work.

I decided to shave the license plate holes. I'll be mounting it from under the left side of the bumper.

And the reason I needed to sand it all down and paint it black. would be a sweet look in couple weeks
Name: crash009.jpg

got some paint on it. I also fixed up the little rust on the bottom of the doors and the rear seams at the back of the bed. And I painted the chrome window trims and removed the ones around the wheel wells.

And here are some new picks of it so far

I will be patching the bumper bracket holes to make a nice rollpan look.

And heres where the Luck comes in.. After I drive it up to the driveway to take those pics I shut it off and forgot I couldnt because the battery is toast and I didnt want to have to drag the battery charger all the way up or jump it with my truck. So whatever, I go get the battery charger from the back garage and get it on the truck. I come back after putting my camera back in my room and go to start it up to move it. Now another thing I forgot, I have to leave it in gear because I have to fix the e-brake. So my dumass gets in and before I can even say you dumb mother *ucker I start it up, and it takes off like nobodies business. Yes NOOB man. trany mistake numero uno, But I totaly forgot

So it takes off and I'm trying to get my **** together and hit the clutch or turn the damn key but before I knew it BAM into the back of the damn Ranger LOL.. Luckily I still had the hood up so thats fine, but my nice beefy bumper slammed right into the grill and drivers headlight and corner light. It pushed the core support and radiator right into the engine, so I had my work cutout for me.

here are the picks of the aftermath

Size: 177.0 KB
Name: crash024.jpg

And after some sweet redneck body work I got it pretty damn strait. Hood shuts great and the headlight bezel area looks decent. The only crappy spot left is the top of the core support, its smashed in a bit. All in all it was a just my luck situation, but luckily I was able to recover and should be able to mount the grill and lights ok. Now I gota buy two lights and a grill that I never wanted to but thats life hahah...what a day

got some more work done on it. Worked on dropn the front. it already had cranked t-bars, but I flipped the ball joints and re-keyed the bars. Its a bit lower than I intended but i'll rock it till I have to fit my 18's. maybe go up an inch or so.

Got some more done today, and doing some more tomorrow. Cant do too much yet besides some more body work and fixing a brake line. Since I'm waiting for some parts to get here for the rear and I have to get some new tires. Also picking up so new shocks all around.

Just basically prepped the rear for my new 3" blocks to come and got it mono leaf'd with the overload spring. Also ripped out the sad exhaust system and will be building a new one from a stock ranger system.

Test fit the new rims and tire package..haha (I need to get my low pros asap)

now wtf would somebody do this for. Guess they didnt want anyone stealn the 2" blocks haha. So I had to cut them off(but I wanted new ones anyway)

Also some plans may include a header and a weber carb kit. Its not too spendey and it will make this thing nice and sound.
