Repaint "Little Blue"

I haven't been on the site much lately, working too much but anyway, I am repainting my 94 Ranger 2WD. Still has original engine and trans 260K miles on it. Just the rear end did a Explorer rear disc brake swap. Repainting it since it is my daily driver and want it to look clean. I want a two tone paint and instead of a plain stripe for a dividing line I am going with a long flame layout as a dividing line. Top will be blue and bottom a gunmetal grey from "House of Kolor"
The flame are a color shifting pearl that was supposed to have a Black basecoat for effect (recommended the the manufacture of the paint, Also Corp) but the flames were too dark and will have to re shoot this time using my idea of a silver basecoat to make them brighter but in the mean time got some blue sprayed and like the color. ("Mystic Blue" from the Custom Shop/TCP Global s house brand. Any way I am still working on it and when its done I will post some more pics.

More pics. Prep flame layout.

More picture of the masking etc. Flames were too damn dark. Had a nice color shift, would be OK if the truck was all Gunmetal grey or Black

Color sprayed

I had to move on and get some color down. I masked around the flame pattern and shot the Blue. I am pleased with the Blue.

Thanks
The Blue is from TCP global, Custom Shop line of Urethane Metallic bases, Mystic Blue 8013. I like it too due to the fact it keeps with the original Ranger blue yet is has more brilliant metallic without looking too much that it looks to flashy.
