Robuilt's Ranger: 2000 2wd XLT Project

Here is a log of my Project Ranger.
It may not be as impressive as a lot of the other trucks out there but its my truck so thats good enough for me, lol.

its a 2000 Ford Ranger XLT, 2wd coil spring truck.
Over all its been a pretty good truck and i intend on keeping it for a while.

Here is how it looked when i brought it home. Pretty basic.

tinted the windows, removed the mud flaps, and added a storage box out back.

Hmm...I am interested in seeing your spring lift with blocks. How much and where did you get everything? I too am interested in lifting my 2000.

I actually found the parts used on this sit and on ranger-forums.com. . I'm on vacation until next week and the parts on being delivered so I plan on installing em next week.

The springs were 120 shipped (from Canada) and the blocks were 35 shipped from New Mexico. So 155 for both. Can't beat it, I'd say.

i also added these lights to the bed box in my truck. its not rice, its actually for need. i think they will work well.

Will the "lowering shackles" work like drop shackles? Also what kind of springs did you get?

The chevy 2" drop shackles are actually 2" lift shackles on a ranger.

The coil springs for up front are SpringTech

Oh ok cool. hmm I'll have to look into those!

Are the springs 3" lift? Or are you going to keep the rake? What are the names of the springs, I'm looking at the website and they don't give any info on the springs.
