Taylor's '83 VW Rabbit GTI

So, Ive chosen my 2 door.

1983 VW Rabbit GTI. Needs some good tlc.

Found this car, and got a GREAT deal on it. Seller included extra parts, as well as a turbo kit.

Picture taken at seller's house right after loading it up.

Had to take this picture of the family lol.

Post more pics, I am curious to see the rest of it. What size motor is in it now and how big of a turbo did you get? What extra parts were given?

Ill try for more pics tomorrow.

I believe it has the 1.8l (90-ish hp) MONSTER!! lol.

I know that there is a new poly-urithane (however you spell it) bushing kit in there.
Set of different front fenders.
Volvo 240 (I might be wrong) turbo kit.
The shifter linkage is pretty new and solid.
Bentley repair manual ($60 average)
New distributor cap
New headlight stuff

I havnt sorted through the other parts.

Ill post any updates as soon as I can.

Nope lol. I need to fabricate (or just buy) a big enough drop hitch.

Purchased a new alternator today. Ill be working near home this week, so I can get some stuff done to the vehicles around my house haha.

Just buy it. We see how long it takes you to fab things. You may never have a drop hitch built if you do it.

Alternator should be at my house by the end of the week. After that, then ill post up more pictures of the car.

Thanks. I'm not too sure what kind of mileage they get, but it's pretty good.
