The Transformation

So as some of you know, my truck started off as a work truck in my family's plumbing company. I have since then been in a mission to get the truck to what I want it to look like. I want to share with you what I have done and also get opinions on what else I should have done to it. Here are some before and after pictures, let me know what you think.

sorry about the quality of the pics i have a crap camera and some are cell phone pics.

So far I have done the following:
Changed to Black carpet
Painted Black
black wheels
31x10.5x15r BFG ats
PA 3" BL
Bed Liner
Tool Box
Tint
Wind Deflectors
Black Tail lights
Black Headlights and Corners
K&N Air Filter
Magnaflow Exhaust
HID Head lights

Looks great, but Id say it needs a rollpan, or a newer style smooth bumper.

Newer bumper - your the second person to tell me that. adding that to the list thx
3"BL wont clear 33's - i thought it would i know ive read it around here somewhere. I'll have to check into that

Im also wanting fog lights somewhere so i might add them somewhere or get a new front bumper as well. . . im only planning on keeping this truck for maybe a year and a half or two

New mirrors and new front & back bumpers... I don't think I'd go with anything OEM... and lose the ball asap... if you plan on towing put in a real hitch. It looks good but I can't say I'm a fan of all that black... I'd probably throw some chrome or color in but that's my personal opinion.... and line the bed

sure the hell will

if he can fit 31's stock on that suspension, which I have seen in person then it can fit 33's with ease.

before you post and make claims like that research it and make sure your not wrong like in this case.

Truck looks great i know your set on lifting it but I would slam it man, it looks to clean to lift.

i dont know about slamming it - i dont want to invest too much money into it- 4-5hundred on a lift and another grand for the tires is really all i want to spend on it - only keeping it for about 2 years. thanks for the compliments tho-
question - all you with toolboxes-did you guys screw them down or use those clamps they come with. i have an old toolbox that might fit off a nissan work truck we use to have but i dont have the clips no more

If you lift it, do it right with a suspension lift. Yes its more expensive, but well worth it.

Ive always wanted a suspension lift, i am looking at the fabtech lifts, but im undecided. i talked to a dealer in the area and he suggested a skyjacker lift, but i dont think they make one for a 2wd. I guess i can do a little research on it. What do you think im going to need to clear 33s? the 5.5 fabtech lift? a spindle/BL combo? i thought i could clear 33's with just a BL.

Suspension lifts are the only way to go, in my opinion. They are functional. I currently have the Fabtech 3" lift spinals on the front. I've been happy with them. There easy to install as well, hardest part is swapping over the rotor and repacking the bearings. For the back I built custom lift shackles. Since I carry a lot of gear I added an extra leaf spring to the pack, but you shouldn't need to do this. As of right now I have 31"s. I'll be getting 33" soon and there will be no problem fitting them in, with no trimming. You may have a bit of rubbing if you keep the stock front bumper. My last ranger had 33 muds on a 3 inch lift with no rubbing or trimming.

put some 06 tails and mirrors on, and night shade everythign. then do a fabtech spindle lift and 33's. I guarantee you'll keep it longer than 2 years.

I just found out that i need to replace the shocks as well - what kind do you all use? - i had rancho on my F-150 - what do you suggest?
