Got the new U-Bolts installed with the blocks removed. Going to un-crank the front t-bars about an 1/2" inch tomorrow as well as removing the mud flaps. Not the best picture, but it gives you the idea. I like it much better. Also, got my new camera Friday so I got to test that out. WAY better then my old one.

Also, for those of you following my other build, you'll be happy to know there will be an update tomorrow. For the first time in awhile.

As far as the bumpstop goes, think about it. You take the block out, that bumpstop is 2.5" closer to the axle, so your axle tube is your new bump pad. My truck didn't come with blocks, where do you think the bumpstop hits?

Yeah. That's what I found after looking at my buddy's Sport. His sat lower and when I looked it didn't even have blocks so I knew it was ok.

Plus it's not like I'm ever going to load it up enough to drop it to the axle tube.

Now I just gotta get to work filling up those holes and this thing will be rolling nice and clean.

This truck is done until I get my headlights next week. The update I promised was in my other Project thread and that was me tearing down the Dana 44. I think. I'm behind on most of these.

Quick update. I got my new headlights in the mail yesterday.

One piece Black outs with Halos.

01-08 FORD RANGER 1PC BLACK HEADLIGHTS CCFL HALO LED:eBay Motors (item 310142409258 end time Jun-14-09 05:39:55 PDT)

I'm hopefully going to be able to install them this weekend (as well as replace the axle seal on the passenger side front, it's leaking already )

Anyway, I'll throw some pictures up this weekend either of them installed or still sitting in my garage.

Next purchase will probably be a 05 STX Grill or an 08 Sport Grill. I think they are the same, but we'll see if the Ford garage has any price difference. I'm hoping it'll be under $200 finally, but we'll see.

Gotta get some good pics of those lights. I've really been wanting to see them on a truck.

Ran into a bit of problem putting the new lights on. The signal light and standard light mate up just fine. However, the side marker light is LED now and the instruction they sent show it mating directly up to the connector you have for the truck.

Here's my pictures of the 2 parts.

First, the LED hookup on the light:

The marker light hookup on the truck:

I'm not seeing how those are going to fit together. Already sent an e-mail out to Sabersport about it. So far these guys have been great with answering my questions and getting responses to me, so we'll see how this goes.

Anyway, I took a couple quick snaps of it in there anyway (note it was just resting in on the grille in these, the gap will go away once there installed, I did check that):

Personally, I think they are going to looks sweet. Hopefully I can get this socket thing figured out and go on my merry way. I wouldn't even mind if I had to switch it to get to to work. Just need to know what to get.

Quick update. Sabersport got back to me today. So apparently the LED's don't plug into the Parking Light plug... they actually replace the parking light bulb.

So will try to re-install tonight. Not sure if I'll get the Halo's all wired up and all, but I'll try.

Just finished. Got everything wired up and I'm a big fan of them. The camera was dead (it's charging right now) so hopefully I have some pics in 30 minutes.

EDIT: Here's the pictures. Not sure how you people get such good photos of lights. Tried some with flash and some without. With the one piece there seems to be a large gap between the hood and lights now, but I think they are sweet.

All installed

Parking Lights (3 side LEDs with Halos) - Flash

Parking Lights (3 side LEDs with Halos) - No Flash

All lights on - No Flash

Hmm... after the posts harassing me to finish and wanting to see them on... no one comments on the photos?

I want opinions. Let me know what you think. BUMP!

Those look great. Love the halos. If they weren't so spendy I'd have to get some.

Do 07s have that little plastic piece on top of the lights?

They look good just not a fan of the gap they leave.

I think with the older rangers 01-03 having that plastic piece would take care of the gap o4 + owners would be screwed
