1989 ranger 2.3 electric connectors on firewall

hello, I have an old beater 4x4 ranger I use around our property, for firewood and other destructive practices. Anyway, tons of smoke after a down hill compression run, so I assumed the trouble was leaky valve guide seals, only one spark plug showed fouling so I went ahead and replaced the 2 seals for the 2 valves on that cylinder. Upon reassembly I have to connectors from the firewall, one for the throttle body, easy and clear , could only go there, the other one???? I have absolutely no idea where it goes, I have searched and searched , driving me nuts at this point.. no start, no spark..... does any one know where this connector goes?? thank you for any help with this..... chuck....
