Dont know if this is the right place to ask question but what is you guys keep talking bout (56k) what is that is it a mileage on a truck or someone named 56k??

I remember when 28.8 was considered lightning fast! I'd sell everything I have before I went back to dial up.

lol no ****.. i remember when 56k was the big thing..
now i have a 10mbit line in my house.

yeah some people are out beyond the reaches of cable and DSL companies installations for what ever reason and are still on dial up

Annoying it is. I'm confident the 56K users are aware that the snapshot section has pictures, so the constant "I have pictures so no 56K" has become retarded.

Hey I use 56K at home but only because there is nothing else available becasue i live in BFE, but trust me it is not by choice that i do not have DSL or cable because i would KILL for it. I had it when i live in the city but i moved to the county and now i have no choice but 56K.

that'd be me.....but we invested in satellite internet...not too much better then 56k on some days....but better none the less....gotta love livin in the sticks
