I just got his message, his account is not blocked, it looks just like everyone elses. You can view all the threads even if you are not logged in.

So again I dont see that he is blocked, banned, or in some list, other than registered users list. I answered him on Facebook. Hopefully we can resolve it.

Again he is not banned for voicing his opinion to Rick.

Riceman, you surf around as a guest and it nags you to register. Since you are a member there really isnt a reason you would see that unless you prefer to surf the site not logged in. Zabeard is still correct, you can view threads while not logged in. That nag has nothing to do with being banned.

There are 54 members banned total out of a site with 10,883 . Do the math. I can say that guys like trepaul aren't welcomed here, regardless of who vouches for them. Anyone who has been banned is welcome to shoot me an email and we can go from there, otherwise they remain banned.

I have no reason to lie with regards to banning someone, if I banned them I banned them. It would seem though that at this stage it doesn't matter if I do ban them or not because a handful of you blame me anyways. LOL ..... so if I am being blamed for banning someone who isn't banned, should I just ban them anyways

I also don't think the staff needs to justify why they enforce the rules each and every time they do something. Threads like this are useless and do nothing but breed negativity on the site. People volunteer to make the site a better place. Part of volunteering is enforcing the rules. People break the rules they are gone. The staff already has a banned list, I am not sure why we need a public one, infact we don't need one so you can guess where this thread is going in the next little while.

Perhaps those that would like to be in the know should offer to become moderators and contributors themselves when the positions open up. That way you can make changes from the inside out and you too can address the questions people have. Actually, we are looking for 2 more moderators right now. All that is required is that you are active, enforce the rules of the site and for the most part get along with the other mods. Hit me up if you are interested and the guys will discuss it.

I honestly don't see what the big deal is. This place is kinda like life. There are rules, and either you follow them, or you get punished. In this case, you get banned. Learn to deal with it. Follow the rules or leave.

 

May not be the point, but that is what happens.

You end up getting comments like this:
