[rant]There are numerous people here and on other websites/forums/ebay that are being overly-creative in their vehicle listings.

Model trim levels are exactly that...the trim level from the manufacturer. Adding to a vehicle modifies it, customizes and in most cases makes it cooler or more useful. What it doesn't do, is change the trim level. The only way to change the trim is to be a factory authorized customizer, ie Saleen, Macho, SVT, etc.

If your truck was an XL, and you added XLT trim options to it...its a modified XL..not an XLT. If your Mustang was an LX...it's still an LX. Cobra hood doesn't make it a cobra. SVT wheels, doesn't make your Ranger an SVT.

Don't even get me started on the Ranger SVT and Ranger GT... Call your vehicle what you want. When you're selling it, represent it as it is not what you think it should be.

I have cash in hand trying to buy another vehicle, and all I keep finding is kids adding letters and value to the turds they drive...essentially being fraudulant and deceptive.[/rant]

Psst, Chuck, this is not the same forum it was 7+years ago when we were messing around in Centralia, meeting in Wharton/RC/Paragon, modding with Griggs/ etc......you're not going to get very far convincing a lot of people on here.....just giving a humble opinion and heads up!.....

While I agree completely with the OP, as I see people representing vehicles like that all the time. I don't see anything but flaming coming from this thread.
