Resizing Images?
#10
I use MIHOV as well.
You select "JPG" from the "tabs" on the right, navigate and select the picture or pictures you want to resize on the "tree" display on the left, and click the button. It couldn't be simpler.
110x110 IS very small, lol. Or did you mean too big? The image created is your original file name with "mini-" put on the front. Your original image file is untouched.

Mihov is nice because you can highlight multiple files and "batch" convert, it doesn't modify the original, and it's fast. Haven't see the "powertoys" one in windows. I use Mihov to resize for hosting/posting to get the "right size" with minimal space requirements.
To highlight multiples, hold down shift as you click each one.

Ok well before I was a contributor I used MIHOV, but now that I am and can have a 300 X 150 picture, MIHOV cant make that size. What program should I use? (as you can see I have a larger, but still a square avatar)

Of course it can make that size, what ARE you talking about?
However, all resizing programs need an image cropped to the right PROPORTIONS before resizing. If you resize the height and width WITHOUT pre-cropping to the right proportions, you will end up with a distorted image.
For your example, if your original image was say, 1200x800, you need to crop it to something like 1200x600 and THEN resize it, telling Mihov you want a 300 pixel size in the biggest dimension (which is the number you enter). Then it will resize the 1200x600 image to 300x150 -- proportionality is key.
