got an idea

not sure if it's been mentioned or not, but on threads that have multiple pages it has it so you can click on individual pages. my idea is to also have something there to view all the pages instead of them individually. other forums i go to have this option and i find it easier.

anyways that's my 2 cents

that would take forever to download the page, especially ones that are 50+ pages like Jey's SAS thread.

yeah but the ones that are 3-4-5 pages would help alot instead of clicking on each page and can't you select whether not to show signatures/avatars??

it wouldn't be bad on a 50 page thread then

you have the option through your USER CP to adjust the amount of replies that show up per page. I suggest playing with all the options in CP VBulletin is very customizeable

dude....i am a computer person and i have programmed in php(the programming language these boards are written in). php generates what to display as it goes along. if the scripting engine had to generate 3 or 4 pages into one that would bog down the server big time and make the server connection slow for everyone. thats one reason of having pages to begin with. i guess if you have endless server power and bandwidth then go for it.
