This feature does it all.

Closes your thread
Renames it sold - *subject*
Messages people in your thread letting them know it is gone!

 

Seems like a great feature.

 

I just marked one as sold the only thing I dont like is the PM saying its sold just cause you posted in the thread. Be cool if you could choose who to send them to in the thread but that would probably be alot of work.

 

Well your only supposed to post in the thread if you want to buy the item but no one follows that rule.

 

Seems like a waste of space to send a PM to everyone who posts.

Since we are so concearned around here about wasting space/bandwidth it seems like we took a step back...

Oh well. Everything else about it seems great.

Honestly, I don't recall saying I was concerned with bandwidth. Besides text in a sql database hardly compares to huge images :)

but... i dont like getting a pm everytime an item i commented on was sold. if i havent been keeping track of the thread its pretty likely i did not want the item. and if i did it is too late. just seems like kind of pointless information

 

Unsub from the thread in your USERCP or don't comment on someones sale if you aren't interested. If you were interested but then in the future change your mind, login to your USERCP and just drop that thread fro updates.
