Members classifieds filter

Just thought itd be pretty cool if there was a way to filter the members classified to where you just see everything for sale or trade in the state your in....i tried to do the "search this forum" and type in Fl but it didnt work and + some people type out florida and some people but (Fl) or just Fl...

That would be a waste of time IMO. I have bought many things on this forum in my 5 years here. And I cant think of one thing I bought that was in my state.

Half the crap on here is in Cali! lol It never seems like there is anything good in Texas to me.

Nope its not hard to go through the classifieds section. Its just my opinion that its not worth the time to do the filter. Not saying others would not find it useful.

it's not that hard to navigate it. If you are an active member, you'll see the new ads being posted on a daily or weekly basis. Flipping through pages isn't that hard. Sure, it can be improved, and things are in the works right now, but will it change tomorrow, no.

Zach, you know how you have a drop down menu for when you sale something...you can *** prefixes. maybe there can be a drop down menu for what state, and then somehow be able to filter results using that.

I already looked into that, its called a Suffix but I dont think you can have a prefix and a suffix in the same title.

We could kill a couple birds with one stone and make the classifieds a form style page like craigslist. You have to fill out the form with all the required info. I know a couple forums have it setup that your zipcode is in the add and the software uses this to list distances.
