Modifying posts in Classifieds
Modifying posts in Classifieds
I'm trying to lower the price on my posts in the Classified and there doesn't seem to be an option for it:

I'm assuming this is a way to get people to get memberships (i.e. you can modifying older posts if you are a member), but that seems silly for the Classifieds.
I could be wrong, and I might just be missing the spot to edit the listing. Let me know.

I'm a member and being one only gives me a small window of opportunity. I think other sections should stay like this but not the classifieds. I also have a for sale thread and can't go back now and edit my original post. I have to post in it saying "item sold, bla bla bla.."
This is a problem I ran into awhile back, when I had multiple items on the same listing.
Wanted to go in and change things like a sold item and couldn’t, maybe waited too long.
There should be a way for the OP to modify their own posts in the Classified Forum.
I thought it was only me, thanks… maybe we should get a poll going ?

Awesome. Thanks Taylor. As a broader question, is this how the forum should approach changing prices in the future as well (i.e. post here or PM an admin/mod)?
I talked with KLC a while back and he restored the editing window back to the old settings, I think it's different for each level of contributing.
Although I do think classifieds original post should always be available to edit
