we still have a political and religious section? I guess I was never unrestricted from that section like I was told I would be; lying moderators.....

People just need to realize gas prices are going up like everything else and get over it. If they don't like it, sell their truck and get a 4 cylinder.

I whole heartedly agree, but it's not really the point of the thread. I mean saying that they need to get over it and it actually happening is like saying that people need to stop asking questions like "Wat do or needz forz a V8 swap to ranger? Plz list by tomorrow. Thx." or "SAS GOOD! GIVE ZOR ME ZEE INFO!". On any car site, people will always ask those questions.

Haha... I'm all for just adding a fuel title to the Political/Religious forum. Seems to be a quick easy fix for this issue since their have been a lot of these "GAS SUCKS" threads lately.

While it is certainly a hot-button issue, the fact remains that this is ranger-forums.com. I am and always will be whole-heartedly against creating any more or any new off-topic discussion sections. The OT sections are an added bonus, not the primary objective of the site. In addition, if we make a fuel prices forum, then we might as well make one for every other hot button issue. We'll need an Iraq forum, a Hillary forum, a gun forum, a cop forum, and a work forum. It would just start getting ridiculous once you start going down that road.

Maurice, you're still here?

BS.....hiliary goes in the polictical section along with military related stuff but some also goes in the off topic. the guns go in the sport section, the cop forum is considered off topic and a work forum is also considered off topic. i know that there are alot of religious ppl here and alot that aren't but why do we need a religious thread on a truck site? political ya i can see why. why do we even have this part of the forum if everything we suggest gets turned down?

Imagine if every stupid idea was put into the forums. That would suck.

Nobody said anything about them being stupid ideas. If you are so unhappy that one idea or another isn't put into place, thats pretty sad. But once again, this is ranger-forums.com, not off-topic.com.

All fuel posts can go in offtopic, or if they are political fuel topics, they can go in political.

A fuel section itself wouldnt lead to much. There is already been accouple posts about fuel, and they worked just fine under the section they were posted

It would be so much cleaner if people would reply to older threads. Almost all these threads are repetitions of similar ideas: gas is expensive, gas is rising, etc. etc. If people would simply reply to older threads instead of making a new thread anytime they want to express a thought the forum would be much cleaner.

Heck, even this thread is an almost exact word for word repost of an older thread (same author):

My 4 banger Ranger doesn't do bad. That is why I had to sell my 69 F100. Got 8 mpg and just wasn't worth it. I don't even want to talk about my 76 F350 with a 460, but it would pull just about anything.
