New Section under Suspension Tech

Can we get a new section under Suspension Tech? Or where ever you Mods/Admins prefer.

I have questions/thoughts/ideas and want other inputs from members here but I dont want comments or ideas that relate to IFS problems.

There are quite a few SFA Rangers here seems fitting.

Just thought it would be nice to have.

Thanks!

Well it's a thought! I don't know if it would just be redundant though? Hmm

I dont think we have a big enough 97 and older crowd for a TTB section. But a SAS forum would be cool

there is probably more TTB members here than SAS members here......so if you coulnd't justify a TTB section, then how can you justify a SAS section?

Because it is a more widely used section. There are alot more questions pertaining to SAS then TTB. There are more members that have questions about SAS then there prolly are that have TTB. My point is we just dont see enough questions related to TTB in suspension forum compared to the amount of SAS questions we get.

The point for a SAS forum would be for all the people who have questions about SAS, not those who already have it done.

what about the people who want to modify their SLA or TTB suspensions? why leave those people out

with your reasoning, there shouldnt be a broken section under engines for the 3.0 and 4.0's.....it should be just v6 and 4 banger sections......

Look at the suspension forum. For the amount of questions we get about SAS and Solidaxles, it should have its own section. That way people dont keep asking the same stuff. Now look at how many TTB questions get asked. Im not against a ttb section, but there just isnt enough support for it as we rarely get any questions on it. this idea for a subsection isnt just to add a bunch more sections for the sake of adding them. its the fact that we get so many SAS questions it would be nice if it had its own section to make it easyer for people to research.

they dont get left out, the general suspension is fine for that. Its just that Solid axle swaps have so much more complexity to building them as they arent a stock option.

we could solve this by having a "Hardcore suspension" section. Which would encompass SAS, And CUSTOM IFS and TTB questions. It would not be for which lift do I want to fit 33's.

then make a complete new section called "Extreme Suspensions"....since you can have SAS, bags, hydrolics all bundled into one custom 1 off suspension...
