No, I'm not looking for a new truck...
Have those popups always been there? I'm on a new com that doesn't have popup blockers yet and it's been annoying the hell out of me...

use firefox, it has a built in pop up stopper

Mac + firefox = havent seen a pop-up in years.

uh, oh....betcha have a virus or some kind of nasty spyware infected on your computer.

Turn your windows firewall on, and make sure you have the latest update of the O/S. Sounds like you have adware.
