i believe posts in classifieds are reviewed by admins before they show up.

Classifieds posts are reviewed. I generally don't have time to review them, so it's usually whenever one of the mods or other admins get to it.

this is something thats bothers me too. when members post and the mod/admins review it and it gets posts it doesnt show the thread has been responded too. u have to remember the thread u posted in to, to go back a day later and check for updates.

Any way you slice it, it's not changing. People can't obey simple rules in that forum. There's also the ability to subscribe to threads. If you can't remember what thread you posted into, make sure you subscribe to it and check your subscribed threads.

Yep. It isn't that hard and if your actually interested in buying/selling something, this small amount of effort should not be a factor. The alternative is no classified section at all. This section should be considered a blessing due to the amount of grief it causes.

There is a defect right now where it will show replies without approval for some random amount of time and then they disappear again pending moderator approval.
