Problems replying on Classifieds?

I reply and submit and it looks good and then when I go back to main page my reply is gone? I've tried a few different ones and it looks good till I check on it and its gone.

You need to be Mod/Admin approved to post in the classifieds. It takes a little while. PM the seller until you are approved.

Classified Rules [read before posting]
Rules, Notes & Guidelines

* This is a moderated forum. New threads are not moderated, but all posts are moderated. What this means is that your post may not show up right away. It's even possible that it won't be approved.

* All for sale threads MUST INCLUDE ASKING PRICE. It will be removed if a price is not included. There will be no "Best Offer" threads. You may, however list something like "$100 or best offer".

* You must also INCLUDE YOUR LOCATION in the thread title. (ie: Stock Rims For Sale : Texas) You do not have to list the city, but you must at least have the state/province in the thread title or your thread will be removed. This is for ANY type of thread posted in the Classifieds (ie: Wanted, WTB, WTS, For Sale, Look what I found on Ebay, Local For Sale adds, etc)

* Post counts are not affected by this forum.

* NO commercial or retail advertisments are allowed. If you're looking to become a vendor, please PM Christian (c10e15d84).

* Regular forum rules apply!

* Because of the shear number of regulations, FIREARMS are not allowed to be bought, sold or traded on R-F. There are a number of reputable buy/sell sites out there for firearms, please look into using those instead.

* Pictures should be included when possible of items being sold. Items that are new and in the box don't have to be opened, just take a pic of of the sealed box. This is not a rule, just a strong suggestion. Many people want to see what they're buying before they buy it.

* This intentionally left blank.

RANGER FORUMS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE AND WILL NOT MEDIATE SALES BETWEEN MEMBERS AND VENDORS THROUGH THE CLASSIFIED SECTIONS ON THIS SITE. ANY TRANSACTIONS MADE THROUGH THIS SITE ARE TAKEN AT THE MEMBERS OWN RISK.

THESE RULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AS NEEDED AND NECESSARY.

Looks like you havent Read the Classified Rules

If someone is selling something that everyone wants its almost like the moderator can pick who posted first so the sale goes to that person.

I guess the best thing to do would be just PM the seller instead of waiting for a mod to review a post that way you bypass the lengthy process.

because there was a problem with people making smartass remarks as replies, people would just fill up the threads with worthless posts...

no the post order is still kept intact so unless you make yourself look stupid you will be fine

Why do you need to reply to classified with a post? simply PM whoever posted the ad.
