Rattle that won’t stop
Hi there I’m new to forms so bare with me 👹 I have a 2008 ranger 4x4 xlt and it has this rattle in the left side door area which I have been looking for for over a year now. When it was last in the shop I spent an extra hour on it just looking and driving it. Can anyone suggest a cure?
Welcome to the forum
Drivers door, front or rear door?
Assuming supercab 4-door
Open the door and hit the top side with your open hand, see if you can find out which door
On the front door try it with window up and then window down
When do you hear the rattle?
Just general driving or on bumps/rougher roads
Could it be torsion bar on drivers side?

RED Ranger, love it
Could be its rolling up at an angle, common issue with Rangers, no real fix for it
Here is a thread about using zip ties to correct the angle: https://www.ranger-forums.com/interi...oll-up-161694/
There are also front and rear track bars the window slides in, one could be loose
