Rep system

alot of other forums have what they call a " rep system" member can rate other members on the forum and so on and so forth. why doesnt this forum have a rep system. i think in a way it could distinguish newbies from seasoned automaniacs and determine ones intelligence and experience about rangers.

For the same reason we don't show post counts in the threads. It instigates 10x more problems and it doesn't actually provide useful information.

The rep system is worthless IMO.

I'm just fine with what level member we are. Just because you have a lot of posts doesn't mean you're a source of good advice. Even worse some of them think they know everything because they post in Off-Topic all day and then want to play genius. Leave well enough alone.

Except Off-Topic doesn't affect post count so your theory is shot there.
