Reverse Light works but Blinker (same bulb) and brake light doesn't
In my 2011 Ford Ranger 2.3L I noticed my left rear turn signal wasn't working from the light on the dash blinking rapidly. I've just replaced the bulb, which was burnt out, but the blinker still didn't come on. I then checked the left brake light, which was also not working, and the left reverse light. The reverse light IS working, and shares a bulb with the turn signal light, which is not working. A buddy told me the wires to the back might run through the front left side blinker, and a fault there could cause an interruption in the circuit, but all the front headlights and signals are working. Being that (to my knowledge) these rear lights are not on a separate fuse from the right side lights, which all work, I am under the impression that the problem lies in a faulty wire connection or ground.
Any input, ideas or help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.
