i can deal with those three points, in fact i hope i have not violated any of those directly...

i would like to see the "war zone" stay. politics and religion are important in life. things will get heated, but it doesn't mean one can't keep his head, bite his tongue and repy in a mature manner instead of name calling. furthermore, i enjoy seeing "the other side" if you know what i mean, there aren't too many sites i frequent, and even less that aren't quite right wing, so things can get interesting.

I think people have to realise that the war zone is like vegas, What happens in the warzone, stays in the warzone. Things shouldn't bleed into the rest of the forum.

And if we were all computers with firewalls, we could do that. But if someone calls you a blithering incompetent disgusting waste of oxygen pig in the warzone section, you're not going to just mysteriously forget about it an hour later in a thread about uneven tire wear.

That's why I dislike the section so much. There's plenty of decent topics but it also was and still is a great way to make new enemies. Although with... umm... recent events, as well what this thread is all about, I hope that is reduced.

Fair enough, I realise that it is nearly impossible, just wish it would happen. I try to take everything that someone says with a grain of salt. Most debates in the Warzone are somewhat civil, but when you stew up emotions, some stuff is going to turn for the worse, I agree.

Yup. And the other problem, if you close it and ball all political and religious discussion, it is almost just as difficult since people that don't know do it anyway. Or a legit topic will change directions and go political. Can't win no matte what.
