For sale Section

i really think we need to have a set number of posts or a required time to be a member on here to post in that section.

i always see so many single digit posters in there with stuff for sale.

to keep this site legit and safe for our ranger enthusiasts.

on nikon-cafe.com theres a 6 month + 300 post count limit to access for the sale section.

just an idea guys.

I agree, id say 6 month 300 post, might be a little steep though

I kinda disagree. Someone willing to rip members off can easily just post and post and post BS, making it look legit just to be in. Afterall, its the internet and you should excercise caution on anything you purchase. Feedback on this site does help for sure so I would go by that, and if things seem too good to be true or sketchy ask them to cough up a contact number for verification and stick to a payment source for example Paypal, in which you can open a case for any discrepencies or fraudulant transactions. I know that seems like alot of leg work and trouble to go through by disputing transactions BUT it benefits you as a safeguard.

I really don't see why its necessary. If you don't feel comfortable buying from a new person then don't. Or anyone for that matter.

I agree completely. I have my own set of standards. 100+ post and I have to at least seen the person around the site before I would even consider their ad.

It has been tried before. Then the user just posts useless stuff so they have posts.

Its an idea, but usually doesnt work.

Thanks
