Taking Pictures?

One important thing to remember is to never make the horizon split your picture in the center. If you offset it, it look 10x better.
Also, most people tend to like pictures of trucks with scantilly clad women in them for some reason

Those rebels are good cameras. My mother has one as well. It is very nice. Film SLRs have come down in price A LOT since digital cams have become popular. You can easily get a nice Canon or Nikon kit for less than $250 these days. B&H has the Rebel GII listed at <$200 w/ lens, <$140 w/o. ... The digital SLRs (what I want) are a totally different story!
I have two film cameras: A Pentax ZR-5n kit that my mother bought me as a gift years ago. It was selling for like $700 then, but she found it used at a pawn shop. Now it retails for less than $300, unless it's been discontinued! My other film camera is a Pentax K1000 that a friend here in the Ranger community hooked me up w/ for $8.50 in shipping charges! I bought a 50mm manual focus prime for $20 of ebay and I'm in gear! It's so much fun to use..
