I forget the specifics, you might do a search here as the mustang forum issue was posted to here. However, even though we OWN our vehicles Ford retains something along the lines of a likeness copyright. The ranger and it's likeness are trademarked, copyright, patented, etc by FoMoCo. Hopefully myself or someone else can find the thread and post the link up.

I stand corrected, though I was half right...

UPDATE: The issue has been resolved. Ford Car Communication's Whitney Drake tells us "Mustang (and other car owners) can take pictures of their cars and make calendars and sell them to whomever they like. They can't however use Ford logos in the calendar." She further clarifies, "The club (Black Mustang Club) and cafe press (or another printer) now has permission to print the calendar. Apparently, CafePress misunderstood the intent of an earlier communication from Ford regarding the use of trademarks on other products they sold when it told Black Mustang Club it would not print its calendars.

Quick Idea how about photoshoping a diff color oval in the grille or taigate. Don't let the pic have ford or ranger in it at all. Sucks but where they are probaly getting their law sutes from is the names being printed on the calander. ie: RANGERforum.com. Other option is to shoot off an e-mail to Ford's pr dept. and see what's ok and not ok.
