I have a month subscription to Carfax. Will end in the next 10 days, though. Been using it to look up Corvettes lately.

Kind of sucks, doesnt work on anything older than 1981

 

A few months ago a kid posted his account and I ran my VIN.. it shows a 'last reported' mileage of like 200 mi.. which is presume was reported when I registered the vehicle. I have had it inspected every year since both at the dealer and most recently at my friendly corner mechanic.. none of those inspections showed up as a mileage report.

Me thinks they don't 'report' on simple inspections.. just for major activity like title swaps like when the vehicle changes hands or something.

If the mileage reported is LESS than the odo shows, then I wouldn't worry about it. If the opposite is true, as seems to be the case here, then I'd worry!
