Is it possible to add something to the index that identifies that you're logged on and who you are?? I use different machines at different times of the day and never know if I'm logged in until I try to post. Also, adding an indicator that you have PMs waiting would be helpful.

 

If it says "view posts since your last visit", and "view your posts" in the links towards the top right, just above the forum list, then you're logged in.

Not sure about that PM issue.

 

Tom, just move your cursor over the PM button and it will indicate if you have new messages.
Your post subject line was unique... we all know you are the angel...

 

You can also have a pop up come up and say you have a PM, as well as email notification of them.

 

Mmm popup blocker! I wait for the email to show up in my 'Bulk' folder on my yahoo email account to know if I have PMs..

 

I have this site added to my allowed pop ups list, lets em right through.

 

there will be three circles at the top if you are not logged in...

two if you are

 

I suppose those will work... Most other sites say "Welcome TBarCYa, you were last here yesterday. You have 0 new messages."

Can anyone verify for the that the mouseover function of the PM icon works using Netscape in Linux?? I tried it last nite and did not get the dialog box that shows up in Windows.
