So I ordered bushwacker smoothback bed rail covers from them on 11/29. On 11/30 the money took out of my account. I got a 10% disc., and free shipping as a promo they were running (the only reason I bought there instead of summit). So I waited, and waited until my order status was updated on 12/2, it still hadn't shipped, so I emailed them that day. I didn't get an email until 12/7, which basically said it was shipping...great. So I finally get my "order" 12/10, but to my surprise, I only recieved the tailgate cover and not the bed rails to go along. So I called...no answer, no voicemail, nothing, just rang for a few minutes. Great...so now I'm mad. I emailed twice, nothing. I finally JUST called yesterday again for the 5th time, and someone from customer service finally answered. I demanded a refund and questioned the order. I got my refund, but the quetsion of backorder was still not answered. They said their online ordering is not tied to a "stock" system. So basically they could be out of stock and you can still order something...without knowing it is out of stock. Now keep in mind I found out from summit that bushwacker is backordered until 1/17/09, so I didn't order another set of them (got summit brand instead), but I will NEVER order from 4wp again, they are horrible. All this to save $7...

 

I just ordered tires from there. Hope they don't take that long!

You talking 4wheel Parts? I have always ordered parts off of them and have never had any problems. I normally get all of my tires and rims from them.

 

only issue ive ever had with 4wheel is that they are usually too expensive. Ive never bought anything from them but when I bought my lift kit, I was looking for somewhere to get it installed and they were going to charge my $900 to do it! It was only a superlift too, a one day job. Ended up doing it myself for free. Summit is great every time with them, so I dont even waste my time with 4wheel... especially after hearing that they have crap customer service.

 

Yes 4 wheel parts, I ordered wheels from there and they took 2 weeks just to ship...that was a while ago though

 

They did sell me shocks that didn't fit my truck once but they refunded my money.

 

I don't know I never had problem out of them. They match price to if you find it cheaper someware else and can prove it they will match the price. I got my B/L free out of them because of that. I B/S'd the dude and told him I found the lift tires and b/l elseware for less and ended up with him knocking off enough to get the b/l free with free shipping.

No I was getting everything at the same time and argued total price with him. These guys are like a car dealer they start high and the more you fight the lower the price goes. In the end he dropped almost $150 from where he started. They always come down on price that was just the first time I got them to come down that far. They'll put you on hold get their manager to approve a price. Then I'll give a line of b/s and he'll do it again. Finally they told me if I give them me CC # now they would give it to me for this price and I said ok.

 

ordered my DC-1s and tires from them. Took 3 weeks. They suck ***

 

i always order from them within the store here in town never had a problem every part i ordered from there was in the next day

 

Damn, sorry to hear that Ricky. I'm telling you the manager at the 4wp down on federal is cool. If you want something just go there and have them order it for you, then he'll call you when it gets there which is usually fast. I've ordered a decent amount of stuff from there and it always gets there fast and there's never a problem. Just make sure you talk to the manager, he's always there and usually is the one to help you anyway. The other guy is an idiot, he was trying to tell someone not to put the EGT probe in the manifold and that putting it in the downpipe is better and just as accurate. The manager is a short young guy with dark hair, the other guy is big with light hair.

i hate 4wp. sorry to hear they screwed you, its just another reason for me not to like them.

 

the 4wp in wpb is really good, got my rims from them, best price and they came in fast too. but i havent ordered anything from them online.

 

to be completely honest, 4wp is overpriced, slow shipping (and they never have anything in stock), and I've ALWAYS had a bad experience with them, I just said, oh I'll give it another shot, because it was 10 percent off...

I can't see driving to the store to order parts when i can order from summit or another company and it's at my house in 2 days. 4wp never has my stuff in stock...I've been over there quite a few times and they just never stock anything, so I have to make 2 trips...online is cheaper and faster.

 

So I looked on my order status today and it says that I am getting 35x12.5x15. I am going to be ****ing pissed if they sent me 35's. They are going to be paying shipping to send them back!!!
