Canadian Ranger Owners

I'm looking for sites you guys tried where there is no extra fee to ship to a Canadian address. Specifically for exhaust and suspension products. I've tried the basic Craigslist and Ebay, no finds yet.
I need a hand, maybe there is a site I dont know about yet? I dare to try Nordco or Lordco.
Thanks!

Don't forget about your local parts store... the prices aren't always that much more than what you find online!

What kind of suspension products? Lordco has great prices for stuff here in Vancouver if you use an account and talking them down in price is easy

+1 for check locally first. If I buy state side I have it shipped to the UPS store just over the border and pick the package up there. Vancouver is close to the border like Ottawa so should be easy.

Aftermarket springs with an inch or 2 lift. Lordco's great no doubt if you talk to the right person. I do have an account

What year/model is your truck? I'm usuming a pre-'98 or a newer 2wd xlt? Where abouts in Vancouver are you? I'd suggest cap-it or Bcsupertrucks/big country customs in abbotsford

Problem with lordco is you need to know exactly what you want and give them a part number because they know nothing

This, before I made good friends across the river I did this. Larger and smaller stuff is not an issue.

I called Canwest Parts, got a quote on a flow master exhaust system for 320$. Seems reasonable. Thanks for the sites, I'll have a look around. I knew there has got to be better 4x4 companies out there.
More specifically from burnaby

I also got quoted $300 for a pair of 2" wheel spacers but they have decent deals on certain items, especially in-stock parts and they are worth a try

Might be a good idea to check out quotes at shops. I live in Burnaby. What is shop time 100 bucks? I'd like to get a super 40. The muffler systems all are with super 50. Coast to Coast Wheels wants 320 for the system too. He also said getting a costum exhaust would be more expensive. They want 140 or a manga flow cat, my cat is like my muffler, rusted to *****. Would I get better airflow from the magnaflow vs stock?

my shop is 80 an hour. pretty sure i used the delta 40 on all mine offset in center out. yours should be 2.25" pipe. you will have to weld on about 6" to the pipe after the muffler since its shorter then the stock muffler. i bet a new cat would flow better but you wont notice it in power

I just got a quote from the shop. All stainless system, 2.50" pipe. Duel chamber magnaflow cat with flowmaster muffler for 820.
Either that or flowmaster 50 series exhaust system and magnaflow cat for 600.

Im paying for the labour and the longer laster stainless exhaust system. What do u think?
Any imput would be nice, im leaning towards the costume shop exhaust. I've got a 2000$ budget this year and whats left is new tires, wheels and springs.

So spending almost 900$ isnt worth the price for how much power you gain? I'm thinking the best bet is a costume cat-back stainless magnaflow exhaust for 450.

I cut off the OEM muffler at the inlet and clamped on a cherry bomb vertex muffler, left it as a dump at the rear tire. Sounded retarded, so deep but a little loud, put a dump tip on it and smoothed out the tone nice.
I cut the OEM hanger bar off the OEM muffler and welded it onto the Vortex and just hanged it up
OEM pipe, cats and Y, just cut, clamp on adapter, (2" pipe. 21/4" muffler") Tip
Total cost
Muffler $120
Tip $20
3 Clamps $9
Adapter $4
Resulted in a nice smooth deep tone, $153 all from canadian tire, need a welder to attache hanger bracket but works nice,

if your only doing it for power then its all a waste of money, i dont think you will notice any more power. i would just go buy a flowy and a nice tip and take it to an exhaust shop

Could still mail order. At least the shipping would be cheap.
