I shipped Shane my Cruise Control pods, 4x4 switch, headlight switch and fog light to have him mod them for blue LEDs since he offered, kind gesture of him. I know he was away from the forum for a while since i've sent him my stuff and knew he was going through some stuff so I never bugged him about the LED swap and let him be. Well its been about a month or so since he's been active once again and I have yet to receive anything in the mail. Supposedly he shipped me a package with the stuff already modded but I never got it, weird, nothing thats ever been shipped to me has gotten lost, ever (sent to an address in a different state yes LOL trent). About a week after my switches arrived at Shane's I sent him $20 just because he was doing me a favor and I was thankful for it but seems like that wasn't such a smart idea.

It sucks not having cruise control when I commute to school everyday which is really why I'm posting this, its really starting to **** me off that I can't use a feature the truck has because my circuit boards for the pods have been gone for over three months.

Shane has helped me out a lot with questions I've had in the past and I'm grateful for his help but come on dude, 3+ months and you still haven't shipped my stuff out? I've even told you to just ship them back un-modded and still, everytime i go to check the mail there's never a package from Oregon. Keep the lousy $20 I don't care I just want my stuff back since its probably just sitting in the same box I sent it in.

So I'm out of cruise control for over 3 months and no longer have my spare switches to send to someone else to mod them which sucks and the $20 which is really not a big deal but still, sent money for no reason.

Once or if I ever receive my stuff back, I'll delete the thread's contents but until then It's staying up. Im just sick of it.

 

This seems to be happening alot with him lately.

 

im still waiting for the center console i bought from him. but i know he's been busy and im in no hurry so im not pressuring him or anything.

Yeah, he told me they'll be out soon so i deleted the thread but realized that was pointless to delete it. I've asked people and they've told me to repost it so I have and won't delete it til/if i get my stuff.

 

I agree with Marie. to busy to send him his stuff back but not to busy to try and sell his stuff on here and ship it out?

i had to open a claim on him with paypal when he didn't send me the tow hooks i bought from him and then he got off his butt and sent them to me so if they aren't to you within 25 days open a claim no matter if he says that they were shipped hell have to prove they were shipped

 

Funny thing Fx4wannabe01, he has told me he had stuff but nothing happens, then out of the clear blue I get RED Needles, that I WANTED but didn’t ask for (thank you Shane).
I only know Shane from this site and he appears to be helpful to all especially in his knowledge base; I believe he has to be busy.
PC, you have his number, you have his e-mail and you can PM him, so send him some more messages.

ALSO, you should have sent an extra set of the Controls, not the ones working on the vehicle; do we need to add that to the list of stuff you need ?

AND, I have a light gray, short, two cup in-line, center console if you are interested, no arm rest though ? PM me !

I know I just started comming around since I purchaced another ranger last week but every time ive bought something from shane Ive gotten it very quickly. Hell, I bought his mac intake last tuesday and it was sitting on my porch on thursday!

 

Please keep me informed on this. There is no reason he shouldnt respond and ship the items. He will no longer be welcome here if he cannot do the things he promised. I try to keep that pretty standard among any members, but you screw a member on a sale or service you wont be here very long.

 

Its been 3 months, I don't know if you read that part but there is no point on wasting my time messaging him via text message or pm since that hasn't helped these past three months.

 

Shane should know better than this. People don't get away with this stuff without getting noticed and punished.

Shane is a good guy and has helped countless people on this site. I hope he does the right thing.

 

I must say, im shocked! Never personally did business with him but he seemed like a good guy.

 

All Zach can do is ban him which doesn't solve anything.

Still Pedro is out the cruise control pods and his $20 bucks.

Banning him will just prevent other people from having to deal with this
